Student Visa

The UK Student Visa (formerly Tier 4) allows international students aged 16 and over to study in the UK at a licensed student sponsor institution. Eligibility Requirements

• Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor
• Sufficient funds to cover course fees and living costs (maintenance requirement)
• English language proficiency at the required level for your course
• Genuine student intention — you must intend to study and leave the UK after your studies
• Consent from parents if you are under 18
• ATAS certificate if required for your subject area

Financial Requirements

You must demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to pay for your course fees and support yourself during your studies. The maintenance requirement depends on where you will be studying and living.

Graduate Visa Route

After completing your studies, you may be eligible for the Graduate Visa, which allows you to stay in the UK for 2 years (3 years for PhD graduates) to work or look for work. This is an unsponsored route with no minimum salary requirement, providing an excellent opportunity to gain UK work experience.
